She is a gracious and generous teacher who offers individual and small group classes emphasizing healing effective yoga and stress reduction practices. She worked as stress management specialist and group support facilitator in the Dean Ornish Program for Reversing Heart Disease and continues to support people with chronic health conditions to live life fully. Kathleen Mchugh is a professional artist who received her BFA from Cornish in 1982. She has been an active teaching artist since 1994. She teaches drawing, painting, scientific illustration for children, mixed media and mosaic art for all ages and abilities in public and private schools, preschools, homeschool groups, community centers, senior centers, extended learning programs in community colleges, and facilitates group murals and mosaics. She also periodically offers classes and workshops in her home studio. She is the founder of Artwell, an associated program of Shunpike, that offers quality art, music, architecture and math classes to people living in South Seattle.

Classes involve motor skill development, stretching and muscle toning exercises, balance and control integration, personal development of discipline/respect/self esteem. Tae Kwon Do is a Korean Martial Art of Self Defense, emphasizing total body awareness and development. Alki Tae Kwon Do is a champion for kid's programs, providing classes for children and youth ages 4-18. We carefully structure each individual's learning program based on their personal needs and abilities. We pride ourselves on meeting the special needs each child/young person brings to this special martial art form. Attention is given to children that require extra attention. No one is over looked!

Will Doran is a certified yoga instructor and registered “Anusara Inspired” teacher with over eight years of experience. His teaching style is heart-felt and introspective. He guides his students into the inner connection that each pose offers. His philosophy holds that being human is a gift that moves us into a state of appreciation for all aspects of our being. Working with present-minded awareness of the physical body, movement and breath strengthens the student’s ability to remain centered and balance throughout all of life’s challenges. Will teaches all levels of experience so each student receives sufficient instruction to feel comfortable and safe in each class, regardless of their level and physical condition.
